I'm new to Counted Cross Stitch, where do I begin?
Choose a category that interests you and browse through the pattern books. When you find one that interests you, order it. Look for pattern books that list a materials pre-pack. The Kits will have the designer's recommended fabric, threads, and embelishments as the pattern book calls for to complete the project. All pattern books will include basic instructions for completing the project. If you look over the pattern book and still have questions, feel free to contact us here at Northwest Needlework.
How do I order the Threads?
You can choose any quantity of the specific colors or color numbers as required for the project. You must choose one or more specific colors. If you go to the Check Out and the Item comes up as "0" in the cost field, you have not chosen a specific color or feature that designates the cost of your item(s). If you have any problems after insuring that you have tried to order specific colors, please feel free to contact us here at Northwest Needlework.
I've saved a Shopping Cart, how do I purchase it now?
First, look at the header line on the Left side and insure that you are logged in. If your name isn't on the line, log in. After you are logged in, click "My Northwest Needlework." Click on the item called "Wishlist View." Click Yes under Restore Saved Cart. You may change your saved cart, add new items, and then proceed to check out as usual.
When I try to check out, the site keeps telling me that I am already registered or some other confusing message that won't let me continue to check out. What is going on?
Look at the header on the Left side and see if it says you are logged on. If you have ever visited Northwest Needlework's website and Contacted Us or signed up for our Newsletter, you were partially registered as a customer. Our site leaves a small "Cookie" on your computer, this is NOT spyware or adware, this Cookie reminds us who you are and the left side of the header will say "Logged in as . . . ". To shop on the site, click "My Northwest Needlework," then click Change Address Details and fill our each space completely.
When I tried to purchase some items, I got a payment error message when I tried to complete the purchase with my Credit Card. Will my order be processed?
We are unable to process any order that has not been successfully paid for. If you have received an error message that your Credit Card didn't go through, please log in, if you are not already, and click on My Northwest Needlework. Select Review Previous Orders, Click to restore this order and go through the check out proceedures again. You may go through PayPal this time or you may try another Credit Card. Frequent Credit Card errors occur when entering your payment information. Please be sure that the address you enter as the Billing Address is the exact same address that you receive your Credit Card Statement at. This will not duplicate your order as it was only paid for once. You may also put in the Comments section that this is a duplicate order to enter payment information.
How do I place an order through the mail?
Go through the normal process of placeing an order. Enter your address and the shipping information in the Check Out process as if you were completing the order. Click Continue and it takes you to your shopping cart items again. Look for the Bold print that says "Click Here To View Your Order" and click on it. A copy of your order will pop up and you may now print it. You will also see an address you may send this order and the payment to. You may also call in the order to the phone number on your order form. If you decide to mail this form in with a Money Order for the total on the form, please Contact Us with the items you are ordering and your name. This way, we can assemble the order while waiting for your paperwork to arrive.
